Right now choosing in between agile and waterfall (traditional) project management is one of the hottest debates. It’s not contained to just us but industries outside of project management. This debate permeates Silicon Valley and Wall Street. LiquidPlanner states its case for multiple project methodologies. One of its reasons for using multiple methodologies is that people deliver results not methodologies. That’s true because at the end of the day, we as project managers are all about delivering the product or service to the client. I highly doubt that the client cares if you are using agile or waterfall to get the results. They just want it in the triple constraint: within scope, on time and on budget!
